Electrical points

Today me and hb went to our house with ID n electrician to discuss abt lighting points.

So many lighting points at our house! End up got to pay $700 extra more in addition to the package deal ($700). We suspect the electrician anyhow top up.. maybe got commission to ID also. Anyway i tink he is not v honest....I have half a mind to get another electrician! Cos i tink my fren's dad is electrician. But becos he is recommend by ID, so i tot respect my ID mah.
Thus now we are thinking to reduce our lighting points. Will reduce about 4 more so as to save $120 (each is $30). Actually bulk of the cost is frm diverting existing points, and running wires in concealed areas etc, but some are quite essential. Also we have to consider that if we save on the lighting point cost, it also mean saving on light fixtures cost.. cos if u got one lighting point means also need to buy one more downlight.

We also go see Bellari shop.. hb is amazed by the demonstration there..we are quite impressed.. and have decided on bellari. But the package with oven is too ex for us.. most likely we be getting oven frm other brand instead. Bellari has a v nice package.. their pdt are from Italy. The demo really impressive. Their hob are all tempered glass one. I scared tempered glass will break but the person demonstrate by putting hot pot on it v hard and it doesn't break. They got lifetime warranty for their tempered glass. For the hood, the guy demonstrate by putting a piece of heavy woodboard beneath the hood and the hood actually suck it (i.e the woodboard attached to the hood w/o any support). So amazing! Then they also have v nice sinks n taps lor, I like their taps a lot but wonder will M buy cos of money constraint.
